ABOUT TTI Textile Testing & Innovation, LLC. is a research and development company. The company specializes in the transfer of cutting-edge technologies, such as phase change material (PCM)-technology and shape memory material (SMM)-technology, into textiles and polymers that can be used in various end-use products. The result is an enhanced thermal performance of the products, providing much more comfort for their users. With reference to the PCM-technology, our company has invented special polymeric carrier systems for containing the PCMs. These systems can be applied in the form of films or textile coatings to various end-use products. By incorporating these new systems, we have developed highly effective thermo-regulating products in the fields of protective garments, building materials, and automotive interior components. Our CEO, Dr. Barbara Pause, has been very active in developing PCM and SMM technologies since the early 1990s. She founded TTI in the year 2000.
